This patch has already been merged into the 'develop' branch of bumblebee as of now. So you should be able to use (bumblebee-git)[https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/bumblebee-git] and add AlwaysUnloadKernelDriver=true to your [driver-nvidia] and [driver-nouveau] section in /etc/bumblebee/bumblebee.conf to achieve the same functionality.

This package was created to avoid the frequent updates of the development branch while also patching the broken PM on certain laptop models (XPS 9570). It will be deleted once the bumblebee package in [community] updates.
