@rcath You can use bitwig-studio as it includes the 8 Track version as well, and is actively maintained.

I just got my Impact 61GX. I opened the app but got "Could not open audio device" error. The detailed information is:

Could not find symbol with name jack_get_version_string: /usr/lib/ undefined symbol: jack_get_version_string.

[UPDATE] I realized that issue was caused by not using jack2.

I had the same issue as @ruestique did. Removing of commas helped me. Here's the diff:
