There is a fix to make it work with atom 1.19.x: In the user's stylesheet, you should set alpha background for the html element as well.

As they noted, this feature is not officially supported. I'm not sure this feature will get a chance to be accepted on upstream.

Did you propose these patches upstream? Maybe they could help you adapt it to newer Atom versions.

ISSUE SOLVED

I found a simpler working way to do the patching. New package would be available in this week.

HELP WANTED:

Atom 1.19.x have some issue with the current transparent patch: the background becomes black and never transparent. Need investigating atom and electron(1.18 to 1.19 upgrades electron from 1.3.15 to 1.6.9) to see what leads to the issue.

I tried 1.19.0 to 1.19.3, all of them does not work well.

I'm using this for daily work thus I will keep finding the way to resolve it. But I don't have much spare time to focus on this. If anyone could help is appreciated :)

@raininja Confirmed, it is `frame: false` option (which disables window frame) caused that. I turned it back to `true` in 1.17.0.0-2.

I built this is as and I had no menu bar and no borders were assigned from the DE. Rebuilt it with out the two patches and it works fine. Just a heads up from my results.
