@ShayBox aseprite uses a custom forked version of skia (forked from a much older version), and is statically linked into the binary. I could offer aseprite-skia-git that conflicts with skia-git, but who would use aseprite-skia-git except within the context of compiling aseprite? Also, the source files for aseprite-skia are required for compiling aseprite, should the source files be packaged with aseprite-skia-git as well?

Same problem as the aseprite package, you should not be building dependencies in this package, each dependency needs its own package, most already do, one package per pkgbuild.

@willWallace77 Can I check if you have harfbuzz-icu installed? It wasn't picked up by namcap, but it should be required for compilation. I've added and updated the PKGBUILD, try again and let me know if you have issues

I'm not sure exactly what needs to be corrected in the cmake files but the only way I could make it compile is if I added this to the cmake options in MAKEPKG: -DHARFBUZZ_INCLUDE_DIRS=/usr/include/harfbuzz

Otherwise it states that the variable is not found. It looks like its defined in the cMakeLists.txt as ${HARFBUZZ_DIR}/src Which is defined as in cMakeLists.txt as $(CMAKE_CURRENT_SOURCE_DIR}/third_party/harfbuzz

if CMAKE_CURRENT_SOURCE_DIR is aseprite-git/src/asesprite that should work as it looks the headers exist there but it did not.

My solution seems a little sketchy so let me know what you think.

@nadomodan Added, thanks.

Shouldn't cmake be added as dependency? It's not in base-devel and the package failed to build until I installed it (line 152: cmake: command not found)

Yesterday I tried, to rebuild the package and it worked perfectly... Sorry for disturb...

@PCZERO Pastebin your entire log

Are you using an AUR helper or makepkg?

PCZERO commented on 2019-07-18 17:08

It does not build....these are the last lines in the terminal

ninja: Entering directory 'out/Clang'

ninja: error: '../../third_party/externals/icu/sourse/common/appendable.cpp' , needed by 'obj/thirdy_party/externals/icu/sourse/common/icu.appendable.o' , missing and no know rule to make it

Unable to build aseprite-git - makepkg exited with code: 4

You're right, nettle was upgraded. I'll try a, two hours for rebuilding...sigh :(
