"ed" is now a dep, and the repo-add bug is fixed. Seams that there's some more changes causing lighttpd2 not to be strapped in and started, will have a look at that next.

Just want to update that I'll be taking a look at this within the next couple of days, been a busy period but I'm on it :)

There was a bug reported on reddit. See here:

It looks like the fix is easy (small change to a build script).

@rchamberlin Good idea, but it is probably "ed", A POSIX-compliant line-oriented text editor. I installed "ed" and it worked thereafter. It must be installed prior to building this package. It should probably be replaced with something generic to all machines, like "sed".

Per @anthonykaram's comment, I think that line is just supposed to be "sed", not "ed". I manually made that change before running makepkg and it worked. Still got a failure running, but I'm getting closer.

@anthonykaram: Will take a look, a lot of things broke when they re-worked base package.

anthonykaram commented on 2020-02-14 07:02

FYI, ed is used in line 49 of PKGBUILD but is not listed as a build-time dependency. Also, the added functionality of including AUR packages is nice, but if the user tries to build an ISO without specifying AUR packages, this error is thrown: [mkarchiso] ERROR: Packages must be specified

@HaoZeke, late reply but I'm working on it. I'm also looking into making this more robust to changes. However it's a bit tricky.
