Will do.

@Manouchehri: this package is a VCS package and pulls directly the git HEAD, please re-upload as 'archey-git' and file a merge request as soon as possible.

I've switched to my repository as I never heard back from Melik (djmelik).

Manouchehri commented on 2015-04-16 20:27

I've pulled in the changes for the negative RAM issue and a few other small things into my own personal repository.

If you would like to use that version instead, change this _gitauthor=djmelik to _gitauthor=Manouchehri

I've emailed Melik and asked him if he's going to update it or if I should switch to my repository for the AUR.

Which problem are you talking about? The negative RAM issue, or the IndexError (both seem related, though I haven't looked in detail)? There's a few pull requests that have already fixed it, I'm not exactly sure if the author has dropped the program or not.

Either way, those both sound like upstream issues and not an issue with the packaging. I can switch to a new git repository, but I'm hesitant to do that without asking the author first.

Updated Archey today,
The Problem reported 2014-11-15 still exists. Very disapointing
I downloaded & looked into the code... some weeks ago:
it's easy - even without minimum python knowlege - to find the codeline that needs fixing... I simply do not want to learn another language... I might be able to fix it in a day or two...

The simple question is: will this error be fixed by somebody with some good python knowlege, or do you suggest to deinstall archey, as it wont be fixed?
If the later is your advice, please remove this package from AUR...

Hint: in the console it looks different, perhaps the dividing char is not space, but tab

Yes, this is affecting archey3 as well:

@carstene1ns since free also prints the free amount of ram there is no reason to calculate it like archey does now. What is more interesting is that schnedan's archey breaks while mine works.
@schnedan, can you post the output of free -m and free -m -w so that I can see what kind of patch I'll need to write?
