The patch is not needed anymore since 1.0-2.
The newest version is 1.1.
Here is the updated PKGBUILD: http://ix.io/6Vp

Hmm. Try redownloading and rebuilding the package. The old PKGBUILD is deprecated since it doesn't have a package section.

pressed the red x when alt-tabbing by accident - tested and it builds fine, installs with no errors, however I run it and it displays 'an' not found on system.
ran a find and it cannot locate it either, not sure whats up yet

Updated source line for package. Thanks vee.aur for your help.

source line should be: http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/pool/universe/a/an/${pkgname}_${pkgver}.orig.tar.bz2

Perhaps you meant "an_1.0.orig.tar.bz2"?
